Yes it’s convenient for me but even I have to admit that Oblivion is a pretty plain and featureless place.  But what would you expect for a place like that?  So I would think that it would be pretty easy to lose your way if you were just out wandering through the wastelands.

And for those that have been wondering: yes, the inanimate and normally non-speaking things in Oblivion can speak and many things have some form of sentience.  I’ll probably get around to explaining that at some point.  At least the tumbleweeds don’t talk….
