A Little Scary

The baby was scheduled to be induced on Monday afternoon.  Friday afternoon my wife’s water broke.  It seems the baby had other plans.

It’s Sunday later afternoon as I write this pre-posted comic.  I had just finished the comic and went to pick up the baby for it’s feeding.  As I’m handing her over we hear something that sounds a bit like a fart, a bit like a cough and a bit nasty.  Yep – I got to change her first poopy diaper.  It was nasty.  Ewww….

Deiter: The guy who writes our scripts didn’t have anything for us today. He hasn’t slept much in over three
days.  He’s spent most of that time in the hospital.
Shel: So we have something special for him instead.

Everyone: CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Xilla: Your new baby girl is absolutely perfect!
Chuck: Born: November 8th, 2008 at 8:20pm. 7 pounds 3 ounces.
Stan: Baby? What baby? Oh no, it’s not the goat is it? Please tell me it’s not!
Zombie: Shut up.
