Yes. I know. That was a really bad joke. But I drew the apple cart and just had to do something with it. It was just too cute in my opinion. And really… I think we can all honestly say that we’ve heard much worse puns and analogies about the economy in the news.

Sorry for the sort of non-comic. My wife’s water broke on Firday afternoon and we just left the hospital with the baby this (Wednesday) afternoon. As you can imagine things have been stressful, tiring and many other descriptive words that I can’t remember at the moment. Comics have, unfortunately, not been a top priority.
Wow… that baby can scream when she wants to. I think I’m deaf in my left ear now.

The baby was scheduled to be induced on Monday afternoon. Friday afternoon my wife’s water broke. It seems the baby had other plans.
It’s Sunday later afternoon as I write this pre-posted comic. I had just finished the comic and went to pick up the baby for it’s feeding. As I’m handing her over we hear something that sounds a bit like a fart, a bit like a cough and a bit nasty. Yep – I got to change her first poopy diaper. It was nasty. Ewww….
Thanks to the guy who writes the scripts for these kids, the goings-on of important earthly things do not go unnoticed in Oblivion. Deiter gets annoyed with our petty mortal issues some times but that’s what he gets for signing on with me. He can handle it.
