Comic Transcripts
There’s something that’s been bugging me for a while now. I can post the comics but they are just picture files. There’s no way for Google or Yahoo or any other search system to get the text of each comic to make it easier to find a specific comic. I didn’t want to just put the transcript on the front page each day as I thought that would be a bit tacky. So I’m trying it out with the MORE tag.
Tomorrow’s comic will be the first one I try this with. If you look at the entry for the comic instead of just the main page, you’ll see the transcript of the entire comic along with the Comments section and such. Let me know what you think. I don’t want to make it look bad, but I also want people to be able to search successfully.
If you don’t like this or have a better suggestion, please leave a note in the Comments. Otherwise, I’ll be going back through the previous 40 comics and inserting transcripts.
